A note from Mike:

 

Welcome to the Schools section, the most important part of our site. More than anything, I want the young readers of Hideout Kids stories to have fun reading the books. If that helps them to believe that reading is fun, then maybe I have helped to start them down the road to a life of reading --the most fun life anyone can have.

Besides writing, almost all of my working time is spent visiting schools. It is a joy for me, and I hope fun, educational and entertaining for the children. 

​

I start a full year of school visits in January 2018. I'll travel all over the UK and will be making three trips to the USA too. I hope to see you soon,   Mike Gleason
